Welcome!
Hi all!, this is new for me actually trying to write a blog, but I am exited to do it! My sister and I will actually be starting a blog together in the next month where we will focus on projects, creative juices, and, of course hope we end up with awesomeness :); once up and running I'll give you the link. But I will also be exploring life here, showing you some of the things I am working on, dreaming up, and hoping to accomplish. Also you can give me your feedback on the finished products and maybe help me, as Emeril would say, 'kick it up a notch!' I am currently taking a blogger class on Jessica Sprague with Crystal Wilkerson that is teaching me the basics of Blogger (thanks Crystal!), so you may notice my posts following her lesson plan. See class info here.

The pics below represent some invitations I have created in photoshop for friends as over time my sister and I seem to have become the go to people in our circle for this service. The first couple are actually for baby showers. I know, I know, you are looking at this first one and thinking, baby? But, if you know my friend, you would say, oh, I get it.

This one is also for a baby. I picked the more modern papers because the mom is very crafty herself, always making super-cool stuff, and the regular baby blue boy thing would just not excite her enough.

This was to advertise one of those home business parties and the hostess loved it! Normally she just uses the quick template printed on plain patter that is fill-in-the-blank, but this time she was really excited to have something more 'formal' looking. If she realized how simple they were to make she would die - of course, I did not tell her, otherwise why would she still need me? ;) Just kidding, I did extol the virtues of Adobe's Photoshop Elements.

These last two are invites to a craft shop that we host every year before Christmas where people can come and buy presents for others (or themselves). The one on top is this year's invitation, which was a success, I think, as I had a friend modify it and use it for her own company's Christmas party.
